In response to social challenges — particularly the HIV/AIDS epidemic — Emmaus Centre integrates evangelization with responsible life education. Through Education for Life and Behaviour Change programmes, we empower young people to make informed, moral, and life-giving choices rooted in Christian values.
Strong families build strong Churches. Our marriage preparation and enrichment seminars help couples renew their covenant, deepen communication, and live the Sacrament of Matrimony faithfully. Many families have experienced healing, restoration, and renewed faith through this ministry.
Emmaus Centre supports priests, religious sisters, brothers, and seminarians through retreats, renewal seminars, and ongoing formation. Since 1993, special Life in the Spirit seminars have strengthened vocations and deepened spiritual renewal within consecrated life.
Through faith-based education, we provide holistic formation to over 700 vulnerable children, nurturing academic excellence, moral integrity, and spiritual growth.
Currently in its final stages of construction, the Health Clinic will serve the Emmaus family, school pupils, programme participants, and the surrounding community — integrating physical care with pastoral compassion.
Our pastoral workers extend ministry beyond the Centre through: Parish missions, Youth conferences, University outreach , Prison and slum evangelization, Leadership seminars for civic and political leaders. Through these outreaches, thousands have rediscovered their faith, returned to the Sacraments, and embraced active participation in Church life.
The Emmaus Women’s Ministry nurtures women to grow in faith, fellowship, and spiritual formation as they deepen their relationship with Christ. Through retreats, gatherings, mentorship, and special events, women are encouraged and equipped to live their vocation with courage and wisdom. The ministry raises women whose lives reflect the Gospel and bring renewal to their families, communities, and the Church.
